Just outside of Edinburgh, lies the Pentland Hills Regional Park. One of my favorite things about Scotland is how modern it is, yet how untouched it feels. Pentland Hills are a great example; just outside one of the country’s major cities, stands a piece of nature that is so beautiful.

It felt like every direction I turned within the city of Edinburgh, I discovered a new piece of history. There are so many beautiful things to see- both large and small in significance. From hiking up Arthur’s Seat, to walking in the footsteps of royals in the castle, to learning about the history/culture while standing on the cobblestone streets- there’s such a range of things to experience!

2 Week Itinerary for Scotland
It all started in the summer of 2016, when I had the opportunity to ‘study abroad’ in Scotland for two weeks. Although I didn’t end up taking any courses, I did go on an adventure that still inspires me to this day. The people and places that I encountered in Scotland, will forever hold a special place in my heart.
