From the second I stepped off of the MV World Odyssey, I experienced a bigger culture shock than I ever could have imagined; it was my most memorable experience and out of the five countries I have been to so far on this trip.

For my specific voyage, Fall 2018, I will be traveling to 11 different countries over the course of 106 days. I embarked the ship on September 9th with about 450 other students from all around the United States and some from different countries. The ship will dock in each of the following countries:

Just outside of Edinburgh, lies the Pentland Hills Regional Park. One of my favorite things about Scotland is how modern it is, yet how untouched it feels. Pentland Hills are a great example; just outside one of the country’s major cities, stands a piece of nature that is so beautiful.

From hiking up Arthur’s Seat, to walking in the footsteps of royals in the castle, to learning about the history/culture while standing on the cobblestone streets- there’s such a range of things to experience!
